Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Our sister in the Lord Amy, and her family, could continue to benefit from your intercession. You recall that Ginney, Amy's mom, had a brain tumor which they operated on, removed most of, and has been doing chemo etc... for the last couple of months. Well, Ginney finally got to fly home with Roy her husband this last week and get back to their house and surroundings. Ginney has been in a very weak state and yesterday fell, breaking several ribs and puncturing a lung. As you can imagine, this has been very trying on both Ginney and the family. Please pray over the whole situation. Pray for Ginney to recover and heal, and to know God's powerfully comforting presence. May God even do a miracle and just heal her entire body, even from cancer. Pray for Roy as he tries to be there for her, to be strong, and deal with all of the hardship of it all himself. Pray for Amy's sister Shelly and her family as they are near by and help with decision making and care giving. May God grant Amy (being so far away) and each one, his peace that passes understanding and may He demonstrate once again, his faithfulness and goodness in a seemingly dark time.
Thank you for your help.

Hi Everybody,
May this email find you resting in His grace. I know I have been on edge as of late and perhaps caused a few casualties along the way. I apologize if any of you were on the receiving end. Thank God for grace and being renewed in His presence. Praise Him that he continues to be faithful when we are not, and works despite us often.
I again just wanted to thank all of you for your love, concern, prayers, and support with my family situation. Here is a link (http://www.komotv.com/news/11785676.html?video=pop&t=a)
if you want to get a summarized taste of the overall situation. Please keep praying for my unsaved family members who will have no choice but to move on in their own strength unless they turn to Jesus. May God protect them, pour out his love on them, and lead them to victory in Him. Interestingly enough, the murderer had charges against him out in Massachusetts which is were Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney was governor. Evidently the judge who let this killer go by waiving his bail on assault charges, was an appointee of Romney. All this to say that it may end up in the political quagmire and my family will need even more strength and prayer.
Finally, we appreciate your continued prayer for us and CC Rome; vision, direction, wisdom, LOVE above all, unity, and protection from the enemy. These are hard times and the enemy wants to isolate believers and bring division. As we know, a house divided against itself, cannot stand. Also, please keep our friend Roger Oakland in prayer. As he stands as a prophetic voice and things get tough, may God bless him with great peace, safety, and joy.
Love you all,
By Grace,
Brent Harrell, CC Rome

Dear brothers and sisters,
Thanks for your prayers for the conference and for my family. The conference went well. Unfortunately, the situation with my cousin and his wife's death, is just awful. Thank you for praying for my family. I ask you to continue to lift them up. Due to the violent nature of things, investigations, autopsies, and court proceedings, things will be drug out a bit. They have arrested a killer and his accomplice wife. This man had spent years in prison in the east after brutally killing his own mother. Unfortunately, they lived across the street from my cousin. Their front door was kicked in and both my cousin and his wife were shot point blank more than once. I won't go into the details but the whole thing is just sickening. I am glad to have Jesus and the hope he brings to every situation, his comfort and love. Much of that side of my family does not have a personal relationship with Christ. Some don't want anything to do with him. Many of them face the pain and their problems by soaking them in alcohol. May the love of Christ invade, heal and transform. All of my family will be together Saturday for the funeral.
Outside of that, please pray for the seeds and the fruit from the conference. All things went really well. Our speakers were amazing and those who attended were blown away. God did amazing things among the churches and a great foundation is laid for the future. As you know, many times following a great victory, comes great attack. We have certainly experienced that this week and ask for your prayers. Prayer for vision, directions, unity and strength for our fellowship. This Sunday will be our first week back as a church family after being somewhat flipped around for a couple of weeks. Our midweek is somewhat diminishing as people are busy working, scattered etc... I am praying about canceling it in town and just starting something out here closer to quite a few of us that are the core. This may be an opportunity to start a new work as well. Pray for God's leading.
I will leave it at that for now. Thanks again to those of you who have graciously prayed and given be it to the ministry here in general or for the conference specifically. We came away from the conference without any debt, praise God.
Hope you all had a wonderful Turkey day, and may your holiday season be blessed and filled with Him.

Dear Friends,
I was awakened at 6:30 my time from a phone call from my sister stateside with the horrendously sad news of a murder in my family. I won't go into the details now, many of which we still don't have, but my cousin and his wife were evidently murdered in their home in the Seattle area. My Uncle Al and his family for the most part are not believers though I have tried to share with them at times. Interestingly enough, while I was back in Boise in August, my cousin Brian and his wife Beverly showed up on a suprise motorcycle trip to the area and we got to spend time together. During that time I had the privilege to share some about the Lord with them. I don't know if they ever acted on Christ's gift. My Aunt and Uncle have been alcoholics for years and though not religously motivated, seems that they had been trying to clean up a bit due to family and health related issues. This is all compounded in that my other Uncle, Uncle Al's brother, had died about a year ago. It seems that the only men that Uncle Al loves and respects, he seems to lose to death. My prayer is that God would grant them grace to turn to Him, to cry out to Him and let Him comfort them and lead them through this by His power. Also, that our great God and Savior would turn what seems so evil and wicked in this brutal slaying, somehow for the good. Especially for the salvation of that entire side of my family. In the past, when I have shared with my uncle, he has demonstrated an anger and a bitterness towards God. Much of it seems to stem from issues he had growing up. He was raised to know the truth, but has never seen, known, or experienced the life changing touch of GRACE. I pray that in this hour of great pain, guilt, confusion, anger, and loss, that the Grace of God would wash over him and my aunt (Allen and Pam) and that they would be set free from sin above all. Also pray for my cousin Jennifer, her husband Chris, and their two little girls as they try to deal with losing their brother, friend, and Uncle. May God give my family grace as we seek to comfort and mourn this loss with my Uncle's family. They were, and are, a very tight knit family. Please join us in prayer.
A second tragedy that hit my world recently was the news that an old friend from high school committed suicide. Please pray for my friends family. I have no idea where any of them stand in light of eternity and they need God, his love, comfort, help etc...
I must add, on the more positive side, thanks for praying up the conference. God is working. I need to get going out to our last and final day, but I can tell you this, God has done exceedingly and abundantly as usual. Yesterday the place was packed with over 300 people all soaking in every word of our speakers. By the time many of you awake, our conference will be concluded. Know that your prayers and contributions have been greatly appreciated, and have gone into eternal treasure houses where one day, you will be rewarded in a most special way.
Thankful for Jesus, and His Body,
By Grace,
Brent Harrell, CC Rome

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!! As we prayed together this morning, Hope and I were overwhelmed with a sense of privilege and gratefulness for the blessings we have and the life we lead. Without your love, prayers, sacrifice, and encouragement, we simply could not have this opportunity. We praise God for each one of you. We pray and know that fruit will abound also to your account.
By God’s grace, we are good here. Things here are busy. Hope and I celebrated 10 years of marriage last week so we splurged and went to Toscany for two nights of peace; a short hour drive away. God has greatly blessed us and we pray for the grace to grow closer and stronger in the next ten years. With the girls, not only is Isy back in the full swing of school now, but, as of two days ago our little timid Livy has taken the plunge into Italian pre-school. This was a great answer to prayer. Pray for Livy who speaks zero Italian. Speaking of school, this morning God gave me a huge open door to share about Jesus and the bible with some unsuspecting parents.
After dropping off the girls, I was invited to have a coffee with some parents. Irresistible as you know! After some small talk, with divine help, things took a turn to the spiritual. One of the dads mentioned the foolishness of various cultic practices insinuating unbelief even in someone who heals by spiting in a man’s eyes etc... I made the comment, “except for Jesus of course”. He continued in his sarcasm for a moment, but the door was open. So, I was steppin in! Long story short, I got to share about the validity of prophecy and the bible, the validity of Jesus, and then lay out
the gospel to several parents. Pray for Tomasso (literally Thomas who says
he lives up to his name), his wife Roberta, another mom (didn’t get her
name) and all of the parents who are just now, after 3 years, realizing what it is that I do for a living. We really pray for what God might do in our zone and with the parents of Isy’s school friends.
On the church front, things are o.k. The body is a bit scattered and self-focused it seems though. We are praying for personal and collective revival. A few Sunday’s ago we started the gospel of John. Many are oppressed and simply need more Jesus. Recently we have had a Seminarian Catholic monk visiting our fellowship. Pray for Giovanni. He knows many things that his Seminary professors are teaching him are wrong and anti-biblical. He simply needs the Word to affirm his doubts and confirm the truth. Pray for his continued attendance and salvation. God is working. By way of praise, God opened up a place for our Wednesday night studies. It is more centrally located than previously, on the university campus, and cheap. It is temporary, but God is good. Wednesdays, we are studying Galatians. Please be in prayer for our Afterglow coming up November 3rd.
Our Creation conference is just around the corner, November 16-18. There is still plenty to accomplish organizationally and some provisions are needed
for printing. As of now, we have a group coming from the Calvary’s in the
north, a small team from Boise, and potentially a small audio/video team from Arizona (for live casting) all coming to help. Keep our speakers Roger Oakland, Doug Bennett, and Rick Oliver in prayer as they prepare and face their own battles in life and ministry. Lastly, a book on the evidence for Creation by Roger has been translated into Italian and is at the printers.
Please pray for this to be done and ready for the conference.
On a final note, there are a couple of ministry families in America praying about coming over and co-laboring with us for a year or so. Please pray for God’s will, leading and provision for this opportunity. We are praying not only for a building to accommodate our needs as a church, but also some ministry housing that would benefit interns, co-laborers, and visiting teams.
Tomorrow, grace permitting, I will send out a separate comprehensive list for prayer regarding these and other issues.
May God bless you, keep you, make His face to shine upon you, and be ever so gracious to all of you.
All our love,
Brent, Hope, Isy, Livy, and Brayden
