Getting to our afterglow Saturday evening was quite intense but in the end, the Lord got us there and it was a great blessing. Again, many people asking for prayer... as well as the Lord speaking prophetically to hidden issues. Please continue to pray. We have our CC Rochester team coming out in a couple of week so we want to be lifting them up, their time here, divine appointments, effective ministry to the body, protection, provision, unity etc... One last note. Our home church has made a shift in the accounting office and there has been a couple of simple changes to take note of for those who financially support us by sending or giving checks to the church. By Grace, Thursday, March 8, 2007 Dear family and friends, We thank you all for your prayers for Hope's pregnancy so far. We wanted to share with you the incredible news that God has blessed us with a little BOY!!! WE can't tell you how happy we are! Now in her 5th month, we had our first ultra sound yesterday where we found out the great news. That the baby is healthy and growing normal is most important.... of course, and if it had been a girl we would have been happy, but, we really were hoping for a little boy. So, Priase God! Do continue to keep us in your prayers as we move towards delivery in August while in the meantime we will be seeking God's will and determining exactly where (what country) we will have this little guy. By Grace, Tuesday, March 6, 2007 Dear Brothers and Sisters, A dear old saint who has only been coming to our church for several months needs your prayers. Natalina has struggled with depression for years. The Lord majorly delivered her and filled her with His Spirit years ago, but she has had a bit of a relapse. Nonetheless, her sister (both in their 70's or 80's) has put her back into a hospital dealing with anxiety, depression, and mental illness. Paola and I went yesterday and visited her. Of course she doesn't want to be there and is anxious but as we ministered to her she calmed down. I felt so bad for her and for all the women in there. It is a women's only facility! Please lift her up. Pray for healing, grace with doctors and medication, for the Lord to lift her soul and head, comfort her heart and give her a sound mind. Pray for her sister to be born-again, and not to put her in a hospital simply because she could rent the room out and not have to deal with Natalina. May God's will be done. By Grace, Wednesday, February 28, 2007 Dear Brothers and Sisters, Thanks for your prayers for Robert. He will be o.k. by God's grace. We have spent time together in prayer and sharing. It is hard but God is comforting and encouraging. We sent a bit of money to his family to help with funeral arrangements etc... Robert was still trying to get the chance to speak with his dad after trying yesterday and being unable to get a good connection. Pray that they can connect by phone tonight and that the Lord will grant Robert grace and words of comfort for his dad. Thank you all for your notes, condolences and kind words. I have passed them on to Robert. He sends his love and appreciation. On another note, a request for prayer. A guy called me tonight very distressed and broken over his sin. He had been to our church once about 2 or 3 months ago but we never saw him again. He called tonight reaching out for help and being transparent about sin that is consuming him. We talked for a while and I shared as I could, praying that the Lord would grant him true repentance. From what I could gather, he had grown up in a Christian home knowing things pretty well, but had no personal relationship of his own with Jesus. By God's grace, as I encouraged him to confess to God what he was confessing to me, and ask Jesus to truely come into his life and be his Lord... he actually did. Suprise right? O me of little faith. Pray for Daniel, that he would be baptized in God's Spirit with overflowing life only to experience the very power and change that he cried out to God for tonight. Pray for his protection, that he will plug in to the fellowship, and grow strong in the word. As he struggles with temptation, may the power of the Holy Spirit be the over-riding difference that leads him in victory over sin. On another ... another note- Our baptism Sunday was extraordinary. God really moved on peoples hearts. After we baptized four folks in some mighty cold water, we continued in worship and prayer inviting folks to come up if they wanted prayer for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or to repent of sin, or needed healing etc... To our blessing, many people came forward one or two at a time to seek God's touch, love, help or forgiveness. It was a very special time and we thank all of you who ferverently prayed with us over that time. Please continue to lift up those baptized as well as the rest who came forward. May God respond to each one in a speacial, mighty way according to His will bringing Him glory. Praise God also for our first married couples meeting Saturday. It was a great blessing and everybody was so glad we did it. We saw one couple holding hands that have been out of touch with one another for quite some time and struggling. A little thing for sure, but a great new start we hope. So encouraging. Thanks for praying it up. I have more to share but will close with Stefano and Amy. Without going into much detail, God has just been blessing their socks off and overwhelming especially Stefano as a young believer. He was sharing that he was a believer before but in the last several weeks, God has been sovereignly orchestrating things so beautifully and powerfully, that now he is really a believer. Basically saying... WOW!! God is just blessing them and causing Stefano that it is His hand upon their lives. I love watching that honeymoon thing Jesus does with his new disciples!! Exciting. Pray for them as they make big decisions and will be getting married by the end of the month. I will leave it here for now. This wasn't intended to be an update, but I had to let you know how the weekend went as we had several things going. May Jesus bless you all with the opportunity to share his love with others. "He will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Him" By Grace, Brent Harrell Monday, February 26, 2007 Dear brothers and sisters, Please lift up Robert and his family in prayer as they suffer the loss of Robert's younger sister. She died in Kenshasa, Congo last night after several days of high fever. She was only 36 years old and had two teenage daughters that she leaves behind. Robert's dad has been in the hospital with health issues. Pray for Robert's uncle as he will be the one to break the news to Robert's father. They will have the funeral Wednesday. It is of course sad and hard for Robert but also hits during a discouraging time. For example, last week on his way to prayer he had a little accident doing some good damage to their car. One praiseworthy note is that we both had the privilege of baptising Robert's sons on Sunday. Thanks for all your prayers, love and concern.
